The Senior Program Director (Membership & Wellness) at YMCA provides strategic and operational leadership for membership growth, retention, and health and wellness programming in alignment with the YMCA’s mission and community impact goals.

This role oversees membership services, wellness programs, and staff teams to ensure high-quality experience, strong financial performance, and meaningful community engagement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Business Admin, Marketing, Recreation Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• Four+ years of experience in YMCA or nonprofit program management in aquatics, health & wellness, membership, or related area.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience including staff and volunteer leadership.
• Proven success in staff leadership, program development, member service, and community partnerships.
• Experience managing budgets, marketing, fundraising, and cross-sector collaborations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, including public speaking and data-informed decision making.

• Lead membership and program sales goals and strategies.
• Promote a welcoming, mission-driven environment for members and guests.
• Set service standards for membership, front desk, and wellness operations.
• Resolve member concerns promptly with sound judgment.
• Develop annual operating plans to support growth and financial goals.
• Analyze membership, participation, and financial data to guide planning.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and training for high-quality service and sales.
• Collaborate with marketing and development on outreach and engagement.
• Liaise with volunteers and support philanthropic initiatives.
• Communicate YMCA mission, policies, and values to staff and members.
