Summary: The Membership Services Coordinator is responsible for providing professional, high-quality member and guest services at Park Fitness. This position assists with membership sales, processing, and retention while ensuring accuracy in data entry and strong customer engagement. Coordinators are often the first point of contact for community members and play a key role in delivering welcoming, caring, and extraordinary experiences that reflect the mission, vision, and values of the Park District of Highland Park. The role requires independent judgment, problem-solving, and discretion in decisions that impact member satisfaction and facility operations.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelors degree in Recreation or related field; or 1 year of experience in the fitness industry. Or and equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and possess strong organizational skills. Experience with registration software is referred. Previous experience in membership service and/or fitness programming a plus.
Wage Range: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
Classification: Part-Time, non-exempt
