We’re hiring a Membership Sales Advisor — someone who loves conversation and connection, and who has a proven track record in closing consultative sales. This role is about educating and guiding inbound prospective clients toward clarity, comfort, and ultimately, a commitment to our services.

This is not hard sales. This is human sales.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead discovery calls with prospective inbound clients (typically adult children navigating care for aging parents)
  • Ask thoughtful questions, listen deeply, and reflect back insights
  • Share our services clearly and compellingly — connecting features to the client’s lived experience
  • Handle objections with empathy and calm authority
  • Closing membership deals with confidence and warmth
  • Track leads, notes, and follow-ups in our CRM
  • Collaborate with the founding team to shape the future of sales at Appian
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Experience in consultative sales — especially service-based
  • Warm, intuitive communicator with exceptional listening skills
  • Comfortable talking about emotional, sensitive topics (aging, family dynamics, healthcare)
  • Skilled at building trust and guiding conversations with calm authority
  • Strong organizational habits and CRM fluency
  • Startup-minded — proactive, resourceful, and mission-driven
