Job summary

HomeTown Services is seeking a motivated Membership Account Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma. The role blends customer service, collections, membership retention, sales, and data entry, with a focus on maintaining accurate accounts and driving revenue.

You will handle high-volume conversations, work independently, and contribute to customer satisfaction while protecting company revenue through effective renewal strategies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle high volume outbound calls.
• Professional conversations about payments, renewals, and account balances.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Data entry and working with account information.

Responsibilities

• Make 100+ outbound contacts per day via phone, text, and email.
• Contact customers regarding failed payments and expired cards.
• Follow up with memberships approaching expiration or expired.
• Discuss renewals and explain benefits of maintaining membership.
• Listen to customers and document feedback.
• Direct concerns to appropriate department for resolution.
• Process renewals and assist customers with maintaining membership.
• Maintain accurate customer accounts and update information.
• Perform detailed data entry and account maintenance.
• Track paid and unpaid memberships using Excel.
• Record collection attempts and customer conversations.
• Research and correct account discrepancies.
• Follow established collection and retention procedures.
• Provide professional, friendly, and solutions-focused service.
• Work independently and manage daily workload.
