Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas seeks a Quality Assurance professional to join our Topeka team. You will perform random quality checks on Service Unit production, ensuring member communications are accurate and timely, and collaborate with leadership on coaching actions.

You will review policies, procedures and data, provide feedback for process improvements, and support cross-functional teams to sustain high quality service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education in business, communications, or related field preferred.
• Six months Service Unit experience preferred or 1+ year QA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform random quality checks of Service Unit production to ensure information sent to members is correct.
• Meet turnaround times to achieve departmental and corporate goals and identify/address errors early.
• Participate in meetings and events related to quality assurance goals for the company, department and unit.
• Perform daily quality checks and ensure reporting accuracy and task completion.
• Provide feedback to supervision on errors and suggest coaching and procedural improvements.
