Job summary

Gateway Region YMCA is seeking a part-time program coordinator to support planning and coordination of YMCA activities in the O’Fallon area. The role works with the director to identify needs and ensures policy implementation and budget tracking.

You will help promote memberships, coordinate registrations, and support marketing efforts to maximize enrollments while maintaining high service levels. The position involves organizing events and supporting program directors daily.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coordinating people or activities.
• Ability to use typical business software and office equipment.
• Understanding of the role of volunteerism within the YMCA.
• Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
• Works with director to determine current needs for program.
• Ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
• Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
• Promotes program and membership enrollment in interactions with existing and potential members.
• Coordinates program registration, including logistics to support phone, walk-in and web registration.
• Coordinates with marketing efforts to maximize enrollments and provides ongoing support to Program Directors on related issues.
