Job summary

The Met seeks a proactive Membership Administrator to expand and optimize the Museum’s membership program. You will support the Chief Membership Officer, manage projects, and oversee daily office operations with a focus on collaboration and exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of administrative experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and an interest in museums. This is an onsite role requiring regular office presence and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years administrative office experience.
• Experience in museums or cultural organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Chief Membership Officer to expand and improve The Met’s membership program.
• Serve as project manager for special projects and manage daily Membership Office operations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and oversee confidential information.
