Job summary

Visit Jefferson Parish is seeking a membership sales and engagement professional to promote, sell, and retain memberships and programming, communicating the value and benefits to prospective and existing partners while identifying and executing engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities include sales, administering membership databases, coordinating partner orientation, and supporting educational and networking programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in membership sales or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Jefferson Parish communities, culture, and culinary offerings.
• Experience managing relationships with partners, stakeholders, or committees.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute membership sales initiatives with a strong focus on direct sales and retention.
• Oversee all aspects of membership sales, service, and retention, including enrollment and ongoing support of members.
• Maintain accurate member records in the CRM system (Tempest iDSS), including dues, status, invoicing, listings, and benefits.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of the Partner Services Coordinator position.
• Collaborate to ensure members receive full access to benefits and training.
• Establish and coordinate member programming such as Louisiana Oyster Trail Marketing Program and Foodie Feast Restaurant Week.
• Coordinate member orientations and meetings in collaboration with the Partner Services Coordinator and Festivals & Events Manager.
• Track membership sales and retention and provide monthly reporting.
• Create and execute the bi‑annual membership survey.
• Serve as liaison to the Membership Committee, hospitality industry, and Visit Jefferson Parish partners.
• Coordinate with the VP of Marketing/COO on committee meetings and minutes.
• Review and update dues, services, or benefits as needed.
