Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a Membership Lead to drive club profitability and member satisfaction. You will lead sales efforts, coach team members, oversee guest experiences, and help manage expenses. This role requires strong leadership, superb communication, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.

The position emphasizes developing the member journey from onboarding to retention, with opportunities to promote programming and events. Flexibility in scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Passion for helping others achieve their goals.
• Prior supervisory experience in a service industry preferred.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment, personal training, and group fitness is a plus.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales targets through effective prospecting, tours, lead follow-up, and upselling.
• Lead and develop team members to improve sales performance and service.
• Oversee guest experience and ensure member satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with General Manager to set and achieve sales goals and budgets.
• Maintain club operations, safety, cleanliness, and inventory.
