Job summary

The Katz JCC in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks a dynamic Membership Director to create and implement a visionary plan for belonging and revenue growth. The director will lead outreach and membership sales and retention, developing programs, events, and services to engage members.

You will supervise a team, build relationships with local organizations, manage the membership budget with the finance team, and design a commission-based sales strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in business administration preferred; 5+ years in sales, customer engagement and management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce, Daxko Operations, Efinesstri, Quattro.

Responsibilities

• Enhance sense of community through programs, messaging, branding, and strategy.
• Manage customer relations and campaigns to recruit and retain members.
• Extend outreach to local businesses, organizations, and residents.
• Supervise membership teams and related staff.
• Develop and execute commission-based sales incentives.
• Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for staff.
• Analyze membership data to advise executive leadership.
