Job summary

The Katz JCC in New Jersey seeks a visionary Membership Director to drive belonging and connections within the community while growing revenue. You will lead outreach, membership sales, retention efforts, and supervise key staff to deliver compelling programs, events, and services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sales/engagement, strong communication, and CRM experience. This role focuses on expanding partnerships and ensuring a thriving member experience on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in sales, customer engagement and management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage membership growth strategies and outreach.
• Supervise the Associate Membership Director and other membership staff.
• Direct membership operations, programs, events, and services to drive retention.
• Manage budgets, campaigns, incentives, and promotions to recruit and retain members.
• Cultivate relationships with local organizations and businesses to raise visibility.
• Provide analysis of membership metrics and report to executive leadership.
