Job summary

The Katz JCC in New Jersey is seeking a Membership Director to create and execute a visionary plan for belonging and membership growth. You will lead outreach, sales initiatives, and retention programs while supervising the Membership team and building partnerships with local organizations.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, staff onboarding, and developing a data-driven member experience. Strong CRM experience and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in sales, customer engagement and management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with CRM software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement membership sales strategies and programs.
• Oversee retention efforts and service improvements for members.
• Cultivate relationships with local organizations to raise visibility.
• Supervise Membership team and related staff to optimize member experience.
• Manage membership budgeting and reporting in collaboration with finance.
• Design onboarding and training for staff; set goals and incentives.
