Job summary

The Engagement Manager at American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists leads efforts to recruit, retain, and engage ACOG members and volunteers by developing data-informed membership marketing and engagement strategies in partnership with Membership leadership. This role collaborates with marketing, communications and design to create member-focused campaigns and collateral.

The position oversees volunteer engagement and manages ACOG's online member community and Gather Voices platform,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field.
• 5 years membership association experience, communications experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide membership marketing guidance and act as liaison to support marketing efforts.
• Support brand awareness and enforce brand guidelines.
• Analyze membership data to inform retention and recruitment strategies.
• Execute member recruitment and engagement strategies with Membership leadership.
• Partner with marketing to expand member reach for programs and events.
• Develop and lead a volunteer engagement strategy aligned with the mission.
• Recognize volunteer contributions through appreciation programs and communications.
• Develop member-focused collateral with the design team.
• Manage Gather Voices platform as a membership engagement tool.
• Develop and manage the online member community strategy to drive participation.
• Create metrics and reporting for community usage and engagement trends.
• Guide owners to create content plans and achieve platform goals.
• Develop processes for new communities and assess existing ones with recommendations.
• Create moderation guidelines and governance for the online community.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
