Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. (EDI) supports the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) with communications, public relations, marketing and membership administration under a flexible, full‑time schedule in Milwaukee, WI. The role emphasizes content management, social media, email outreach, and alignment with ACMS strategic plans.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in communications or membership roles; travel to annual meeting is expected. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with social media content creation and strategy.
• Familiarity with WordPress and/or other website CMS platforms.
• General familiarity with principles of SEO.
• Experience drafting publication-ready emails and newsletters.
• Familiarity with AMA and AP styles.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the membership application and review process for ACMS, including eligibility and materials for review by the Membership Committee.
• Guide project coordinator in membership dues invoicing and payments.
• Maintain iMIS membership databases with accurate records and rosters.
• Manage social media content development, scheduling, and DMs for ACMS; implement aspects of the strategic plan for websites and social media.
• Create and manage broadcast emails, advertising and promotional communication schedules.
• Serve as staff liaison to ACMS Nominating and Membership Committees.
• Lead development of the annual ACMS membership directory.
• Propose and manage activities related to recruitment, retention, and benefits.
• Update content for www.mohscollege.org; manage SEO/analytics; coordinate with staff/ vendors on content strategy.
• Develop and implement promotional campaigns that drive ACMS website traffic.
