Job summary

SVR Management II LLC seeks a Clubhouse Bartender for Silverado Resort in Napa, CA. You will provide high-quality beverage service, craft cocktails, and maintain clean bar areas while following resort standards and safety policies.

The role requires 21+ years old, bartending experience, and California Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification. Flexible hours and physical duties are involved.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar according to resort/bar standards and ensure guests are served promptly.
• Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the resort’s standards.
• Maintain bar and service areas clean and organized during service.
• Create seasonal cocktails and suggest them to guests.
• Follow all state liquor laws and resort safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Salary Range: $16.90/hr – Minimum Wage Position Plus Gratuity/Tips. The Clubhouse Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality service to guests/members, and servers in addition to maintaining the Silverado Resort standards of cleanliness and sanitation while following the requirements at the Clubhouse Bar.

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
• Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Ensure that the bar and service areas are kept clean and tidy during service.
• Must be able to create various seasonal cocktails and be able to recommend them to various guests/members.
• Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the food menu and be able to make recommendations.
• Set up the bar according to resort/bar standards and ensure that guests/members are served promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the resort’s mixing and presentation standards.
• Serve guests/members with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Break down bar after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment according to the resort’s standards and ensure everything is locked.
• Follow all state liquor laws.
• Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in bartending is required.
• In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food & beverages.
