Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to guests/members at the clubhouse bar.
• Set up the bar according to resort standards and maintain cleanliness.
• Create and recommend seasonal cocktails.
• Know the food menu and suggest pairings.
• Serve beverages promptly and professionally.
• Break down bar after events and secure all supplies.
• Adhere to all state liquor laws.
• Participate in required meetings and trainings.
• Follow resort safety policies.
• Support overall guest satisfaction.

Job description

Salary Range: $16.90/hr - Minimum Wage Position Plus Gratuity/Tips. The Clubhouse Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality service to guests/members, and servers in addition to maintaining the Silverado Resort standards of cleanliness and sanitation while following the requirements at the Clubhouse Bar.

Essential Functions

• Must adhere to the company's Service culture - 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
• Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
• Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
• Ensure that the bar and service areas are kept clean and tidy during service.
• Must be able to create various seasonal cocktails and be able to recommend them to various guests/members.
• Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the food menu and be able to make recommendations.
• Set up the bar according to resort/bar standards and ensure that guests/members are served promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the resort's mixing and presentation standards.
• Serve guests/members with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Break down bar after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment according to the resort's standards and ensure everything is locked.
• Follow all state liquor laws.
• Ensure overall guest/member satisfaction.
• Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in bartending is required.
• In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.

Working Conditions and Schedule

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium Work-Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout the dining area while carrying full trays of food & beverages.
