Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist II at the Roseville Pleasant Grove Branch. This non-exempt role reports to the Associate Branch Manager and handles deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other member transactions with a focus on accuracy and service.

You will provide services such as cashier’s checks, money orders, wire transfers, and debit card issuance, while identifying member needs and opportunities to introduce Golden 1 products.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of prior experience in a cash handling, service-oriented role.
• 6+ months as a MSSI or teller at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes and audits financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries while maintaining a cash drawer.
• Provides Golden 1 services to members, including cashier’s checks, money orders, savings bonds, wire transfers and debit card issuance.
• Assesses members’ needs while processing transactions.
• Identifies opportunities to help members with Golden 1 products or services and documents in EnAct system.
• Identifies and reports fraudulent activity to management and Financial Investigations department to prevent potential loss.
• Assists in ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser Unit operations such as replacing receipt cartridges and clearing blockages.
