Job summary

Honor Credit Union in Michigan is seeking a Member Specialist Float to support our Southeast region, including Battle Creek area. The role covers multiple branches, delivering best-in-class member service and helping members with loans, accounts, and digital tools.

You will build relationships, educate members on products, and work with a team to resolve questions quickly. A high school diploma and active MLO registration are required.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
• Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be or become registered as an MLO and have a Nationwide Licensing Number.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a floating Member Specialist by providing support to various branch locations as business needs require.
• Accountable for providing excellent member service and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Assists members with new loans and products, opening and maintaining memberships and new accounts, advises members on various financial solutions and maintains knowledge on products and services.
• Educates and encourages membership to utilize various digital solutions to enhance overall member experience.
• Courteously and promptly resolves member questions and problems or properly refers them to appropriate team members.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as required.

This role will cover our Southeast Region which includes our Battle Creek branches in Beckley, Urbandale, Helmer and Coldwater.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• One to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.


• Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.

• Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This position is subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements. Pursuant to the SAFE Act requirements, all loan officers engaged in residential loan mortgage originations (as defined by the SAFE Act) must register with the federal registry system and maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act requirements. Failure to register successfully or to maintain a status in good standing under the SAFE Act will affect your eligibility for continued employment and may result in your immediate termination.
