Job summary

Patelco Credit Union in California is seeking a Personal Banker (Member Solutions Specialist) to elevate our members’ experience through prompt, courteous service. You will open new accounts, offer credit card products and loans, and guide members through Money Market/CD accounts, consumer loans, and mortgages.

You’ll assess financial needs, advise on debt management and mortgages, and promote financial wellbeing while maintaining compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in financial services or sales environment.
• Maintain eligibility for NMLS, Medallion, and Notary certifications.
• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.
• Professional and adaptable; flexible with changing requirements.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills; PC proficient.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and provide a range of product options to members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on products, services, and lending processes.
• Assist members with complex transactions and proactive follow-up.
• Educate members on debt management, mortgages, and financial health.
• Support community relationships and training of team members.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and policies.
