Job summary

Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is seeking a Teller (Member Services Representative I - Holston) in Knoxville, TN. You will greet members, process transactions, and provide accurate service with adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check issuing, and maintaining accurate cash drawer. You will stay informed on products and services to assist members effectively and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling and service-industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
• Accurately process all teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments within established limits, and in accordance with Credit Union policy.
• Maintain cash drawer or cash dispenser with minimal discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
• Perform other teller duties such as issuing money orders, processing debit card disputes, issuing temporary and cashier’s checks, ordering checks, opening and closing sub-accounts and processing stop payments.
• Respond to member requests, problems and complaints. Answer member questions regarding account issues, products and services and perform account maintenance.
• Follow Service Standards at all times.
• Counsel members about Credit Union products and services based upon members’ needs. Promote services based upon members’ needs.
• Educate and assist members with electronic and online services, such as online banking, mobile applications, remote deposit.
