Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Temporary Member Service Representative (MSR)/Teller for the Vallejo, CA team. The role involves delivering high-level member service, processing a variety of transactions, and promoting products while adhering to credit union policies.

Responsibilities include initiating conversations to assess member needs, maintaining account relationships, handling cash, deposits, and transfers, and supporting branch operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.
• May be required to travel to cover other branches.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent member service.
• Process share deposit payments, loan payments, manual payrolls, and account transfers.
• Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
• Post and Log night, ATM, and mail deposits.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
