Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Temporary Member Service Representative (MSR) in Vallejo, CA to process transactions, promote products, and deliver top-tier service. You will work with members to meet financial needs and uphold credit union policies in a friendly, accurate manner.

The role requires a high school diploma, cash handling and customer service experience, and may involve travel to other branches. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Hourly pay range is posted.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or other customer service industry preferred.
• Prior cash handling and customer service responsibilities preferred.
• May be required to travel to cover other branches.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify and assess member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member account relationships by providing excellent member service.
• Process share deposit payments, loan payments, manual payrolls, and account transfers.
• Maintain drawer cash levels within prescribed amounts.
• Post and Log night, ATM, and mail deposits.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
