Job summary

Greater Nevada Credit Union’s Minden branch is seeking a Teller to be the face of the credit union, delivering friendly member service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting the institution’s products and services.

You will balance cash drawers, handle deposits and loan payments, learn our systems, and comply with regulatory and security requirements while building rapport with members in a close-knit Northern Nevada community.

Qualifications

6+ months of customer service experience in a customer-facing environment (retail, hospitality, financial services, or similar)
6+ months cash handling experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems
Strong attention to detail and customer service skills

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming and positive environment for members by greeting them warmly, actively listening to their needs, and assisting in a friendly and professional manner.
Conduct various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, ensuring accounts are handled with precision.
Balance cash drawers and maintain proper cash levels.
Educate members on GNCU products and services and identify opportunities to cross sell to meet financial needs.
Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies to safeguard confidentiality and prevent fraud.
