Job summary

The City of Allen is seeking a part-time recreation center associate at Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center. You will provide friendly customer service, assist with front desk operations, conduct facility tours, and help with rentals and events.

Responsibilities include answering phones, processing memberships, handling POS transactions, and resolving customer inquiries while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with no prior relevant work experience.
• First Aid/CPR Certification (adult and children), or ability to obtain with sixty (60) days from hire.
• Babysitting Certification, or ability to obtain within thirty (30) days from hire.
• Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain within thirty (30) days from hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide front desk assistance; conduct facility tours.
• Assist with memberships, classes, and activities in ACTIVE software.
• Process POS transactions and payments.
• Answer phones and handle concessions, playroom, and events.
• Resolve customer complaints and maintain facility safety.
