Job summary

UFCU is seeking a Member Services Representative I to serve as the primary contact for Member inquiries by telephone and in person at our Austin headquarters. You will handle routine requests, ask questions to understand needs, and provide accurate information with a focus on service excellence.

Working 50% in office in Austin, you will join a team dedicated to empowering Members and delivering prompt, professional support while adhering to regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service or high-volume call experience.
• 1 year of effectively using multiple computer programs simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for customer service or call center experience.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent Member experience by handling inquiries and transactions.
• Ask appropriate questions to determine Member needs and identify solutions.
• Adhere to defined quality guidelines for each member interaction.
• Meet service level metrics and work with other departments as needed.
• Maintain compliance with laws and internal controls (BSA/AML/Patriot Act).
• Complete required regulatory training as assigned.
