Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union in Hackensack, New Jersey, is seeking a Member Service Representative to provide courteous member service by phone or in person and handle a wide range of transactions. You will open accounts, assist with loans and mortgage information, and promote credit union products.

Responsibilities include greeting members, processing deposits/withdrawals, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with BSA/Patriot Act.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome members and process transactions.
• Receive deposits and cash, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cash share drafts/checks and process withdrawals/deposits accurately.
• Promote products and services and cross-sell offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures and regulations (BSA/Patriot Act).
• Balance cash drawer and resolve discrepancies.
• Open new consumer and business accounts; service existing accounts.
• Process consumer loans and provide mortgage information via Greater Alliance site.
• Assist other branches and with branch openings/closings, home equity closings.
• Respond to member requests and resolve issues or direct to appropriate staff.
• Stay up-to-date on related policies and procedures.
• Approve member exceptions and refunds when necessary.
