Member Services Representative Part Time

Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Handle all front desk activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Sign-up new members.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Facilitate updates to members' accounts.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management as needed.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
  • Qualifications/Requirements

    • Customer service background preferred.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • A passion for fitness and health.
    • Upbeat, positive attitude.
    • Punctuality and reliability.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to listen empathetically and problem-solve.
    • Diplomatic behavior and language.
    • High School diploma or GED required.
    • Must be 16 years or older.

    Physical Demands

    • Standing and walking during shifts.
    • Talking with members and staff in person and on the phone.
    • Occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs.
    • Handling exposure to chemicals with provided safety equipment.
