Job summary

Bookmark Medical in Westwood, MA is hiring a Member Services Representative to support patients through the care journey. You will answer calls, collect information, verify insurance, and schedule appointments within the primary care network.

This full-time role requires strong communication and the ability to work EST hours, with remote work options and occasional visits to corporate locations. You will collaborate with Practice staff and providers to ensure accurate EMR notes, coordinated

• Enter timely and accurate notes in the EMR system.
• Explain after-care plans to patients.

What you will do:

• Answer patient telephone calls coming into the Primary Care Call Center and obtain necessary information from the patient to process the call.
• Have knowledge of each practice and provider's schedule and scheduling preferences.
• Interact with Practice staff and providers to communicate and work cooperatively regarding all aspects of patient care and coordination, including:
  • Establishing pre-visit planning protocols and determining insurance eligibility.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Timely, effective, and accurate information notated in the practice EMR system.
  • Communicating with patients about the after-care plan.
• Act professionally and treat patients, co-workers, and leadership with respect always.

Required:

• Knowledge of health care and or related products, medical terminology, insurance products, and coordination of benefits
• Ability to communicate with others effectively in a concise manner.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Must work EST hours
• Comfortable working remotely with the ability to commute to our corporate locations in either Nashville, TN, or Westwood, MA.
