Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
2. Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
3. Handle all front desk activities including:
   • Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
   • Check members into the system.
   • Sign-up new members.
   • Take prospective members on tours.
   • Update member accounts as needed.
4. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the club, including:
   • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and amenities.
   • Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and clutter-free.
   • Conducting safety and cleanliness inspections of all club areas.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Customer service background preferred.
2. Must be 18 years or older.
3. Basic computer skills.
4. Passion for fitness and health.
5. Positive attitude and punctuality.
6. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
7. High School diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands

1. Standing and walking during shift.
2. Talking in person or on the phone.
3. Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
4. Handling chemicals safely.
5. Moving and adjusting positions as needed.
