Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Handle all front desk activities including:
  • Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • Sign up new members.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
  • Update member accounts as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the club, including sanitizing equipment and amenities, ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked, and addressing safety or cleanliness issues promptly.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Positive attitude!
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk continuously during shift.
• Talk in person and on the phone frequently.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work with chemicals safely.
• Move and position self as needed for tasks.
