Job summary

Forest Area Federal Credit Union is seeking team members who are committed to serving our community with accuracy and care. The role involves performing transactional duties, maintaining records, and providing basic cash receipt and payment services in line with credit union policies.

Responsibilities include daily cash drawer balancing, accurate posting, timely resolution of member inquiries, and proactively suggesting suitable products and services for members.

Qualifications

• Perform transactional duties to serve members with a high degree of accuracy.
• Maintain accurate transactional records and provide basic cash receipt and payment services per credit union policies.
• Balance cash drawer daily with minimal variance and ensure posting accuracy.
• Resolve member inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
• Proactively identify suitable products and services for the benefit of members.
• Maintain dependable attendance and a professional work environment.
• Uphold a professional appearance consistent with credit union standards.

• Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for members.

• Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.

Position Purpose

Perform transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high degree of accuracy. Maintain accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.

Performance Measurements

Provide friendly, professional, personal, and confidential service to all members and associates.

Balance cash drawer daily, with no more than $2 off and with total offages not to exceed 2 in a 1 month period in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.

Accurately post transactions, having fewer than 2 unresolved posting errors in a 1 month period.

Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.

Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the greater benefit of the member.

Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.

Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
