Job summary

Forest Area Federal Credit Union is seeking a member service-oriented associate to perform transactional duties and serve members with accuracy and courtesy. You will maintain records, handle cash transactions, and support daily operations following policy and procedures.

You will balance cash, post transactions, resolve member inquiries, and look for opportunities to offer appropriate products and services, while upholding attendance and professional appearance standards.

• Maintain accurate transactional records and basic cash handling.
• Balance cash drawer daily with strict accuracy.

• Provide friendly, professional service to all members and associates.
• Balance cash drawer daily with accuracy and adhere to policies.
• Post transactions accurately with minimal errors (less than 2 unresolved postings).
• Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly manner.
• Proactively identify opportunities to offer appropriate products and services for member benefit.
• Maintain dependable attendance and timeliness.
• Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.

Position Purpose

Perform transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high degree of accuracy. Maintain accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.

Performance Measurements

• Provide friendly, professional, personal, and confidential service to all members and associates.
• Balance cash drawer daily, with no more than $2 off and with total offages not to exceed 2 in a 1 month period in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Accurately post transactions, having fewer than 2 unresolved posting errors in a 1 month period.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
• Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the greater benefit of the member.
• Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
• Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
