Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
  • Handle all front desk activities including:
    • Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
    • Check members into the system.
    • Assist with new member sign-up.
    • Take prospective members on tours.
    • Update member accounts as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club, including:
    • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and amenities.
    • Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and clutter-free.
    • Performing safety and cleanliness inspections.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Passion for fitness and health.
  • Upbeat, positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to listen, empathize, and problem-solve.
  • Diplomatic in interactions and professional language.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Talking in person and on the phone.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Encountering chemicals during shift.
  • Moving and positioning self for tasks.
