Job summary

Taymax Group operates Planet Fitness and seeks a friendly Front Desk Associate for the Huntsville club. You will greet guests, manage check-ins, answer phones, conduct club tours, and sign up new members while processing payments. Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and provide excellent service to all visitors.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a High School diploma, and bring reliability and a positive attitude toward fitness. This role supports the club team and reports to the Club Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency expected.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with a passion for fitness.
• Excellent customer service and ability to interact with members and coworkers.
• Good listening, empathy and problem-solving skills.
• Diplomacy in all interactions and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk activities: answer phones, check members in, give tours, sign up new members and process payments.
• Assist in updating member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and escalate to management as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization; complete daily tasks and cleaning checks.
• Perform other duties as needed based on club requirements.
