Job summary

Power Wellness is hiring a Member Services Associate at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Health & Fitness Center to deliver excellent member experiences. You will handle the service desk, enroll new members, manage guest registrations, and promote fitness services while maintaining accurate transactions and schedules.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional interactions, effective communication, and reliable multitasking across reception duties and program offerings to support community health

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desk interactions, opening/closing, phones, guest registration/fees, check-in and information provision.
• Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services such as training, massage, nutrition.
• Schedule appointments via core software, including reminders and cancellations.
• Balance drawers and understand credit card/check policies.
• Enroll members via contracts, explain memberships, obtain signatures and payments.
• Communicate with departments via radio to coordinate activities.
• Aim for customer satisfaction metrics from surveys and secret shops.
• Maintain an average of 5 shifts per month and stand for long periods.
• Other duties as assigned.
