Job summary

Power Wellness in Maywood, IL is hiring a Member Services Associate for a weekday opening shift at Loyola Center for Fitness. You will welcome members, answer questions, process registrations, and support the front desk with courteous service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred.
• 2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service desk operations including opening/closing, phones, sign-ins, fees, guest passes, check-ins, and information.
• Promote memberships and ancillary services including personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, and nutrition services.
• Schedule all appointments via Compete, including reminders, cancellations and notifying staff.
• Balance drawers and enforce policy for cash/credit card transactions.
• Enroll members via contracts, explain memberships, obtain signatures and provide member handbook.
• Maintain clear radio communication with all departments as needed.
• Strive for satisfaction metrics via Secret Shops and Member Surveys.
• Maintain an average of 5 shifts per month to cover operations.
• Must be able to stand for 3–6 hours per shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
