Job summary
Virginia Farm Bureau is seeking a Member Service Specialist for the Halifax County office in South Boston, VA. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with hours Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm and a salary range of $36,000 to $56,000 annually.
You will support county insurance staff with solicitation, processing and servicing of products, collaborate with the County Board, promote Farm Bureau Bank, and help members with health insurance needs.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative support experience.
- Outstanding technical skills including MS Office applications.
- Effective verbal & written communication.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Property & Casualty license within 3 months of hire – Paid for by company.
- Previous insurance experience preferred.
- Outside/Inside sales experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to the county insurance staff in the solicitation processing and servicing of our insurance products.
- Working with our County Board of Directors.
- Promoting Farm Bureau Bank.
- Assist individuals members with health insurance needs.
