WECU in Lynden, WA is hiring a Relationship Officer to join our Lynden branch. The role handles member transactions, opens accounts, and promotes credit union products to help members achieve their financial goals.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year as a WECU Service Consultant or 3 years of customer-facing sales, and notary license. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; we offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a WECU Service Consultant or 3 years customer-facing sales.
• Lending experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
• Possess and/or obtain a Notary Public License.

• Assess member needs: engage in conversations and recommend tailored product solutions.
• Achieve sales targets: meet individual and team goals and track referrals.
• Build trust and engagement: follow up to ensure satisfaction and ongoing needs.
• Maintain product knowledge: stay informed about all WECU products and services.
• Provide exceptional service: deliver personalized advice with clear explanations.
• Process transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, wires.
• Support notary and account services: origination and maintenance for consumers and businesses.
