Job summary

AltaOne Federal Credit Union is seeking a customer-focused member service representative to assist with a wide range of financial services. You will open new accounts, educate members on products, and handle IRA certificates along with related transfers and notary duties.

The role includes processing credit card and loan applications, assisting with wires, CDs, safekeeping, and providing teller backup as needed. Strong interpersonal skills and accuracy are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Open various new accounts and educate members about available services and products.
• Explain and expedite opening, closing, transfer and rollover of IRA certificates.
• Process credit card/loan applications, assist with wires, notary, and close accounts as needed.
• Assist with CDs, safekeep boxes, and related services; provide teller backup when required.
• Set up auto transfers, ACH transfers and wires for members.
• Cross-sell and advise members on additional services and programs.
