Job summary

BMI Federal Credit Union in Dublin, OH is seeking a Member Service Rep 1 to assist members with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account inquiries. The role requires friendly, accurate service and the ability to cross-sell BMI FCU products while maintaining service standards.

Full-time position with about 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm Monday–Thursday and 8am-6pm Friday, plus rotating Saturdays. Salary range $15.74 to $19.67 hourly; travel to assigned branches as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent required.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work a varied work schedule.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with competencies in Excel and general office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers and wire transfers.
• Assist members with account inquiries using account history in the data processing system.
• Assist members with various account changes and updates.
• Develop and deepen member relationships.
• Manage cash drawer and post daily cash transactions to the vault.
• Balance daily work and ensure accuracy of records.
• Explain BMI FCU services and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Assist members with access to safe deposit boxes.
• Handle ACH and ATM item processing, disputes, and stop payments (not fraud).
• Provide operational support across servicing platforms and perform quality control.
