The Madison Club in La Quinta, California, is seeking a seasonal Member Services assistant for October 2026 through June 2027. The role demands flexibility to work weekends and holidays during key event months, with a focus on delivering unparalleled member service and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 1-2 years hospitality experience and customer service.
• Outgoing, well-spoken and able to interact with members and guests.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Assist members with specific questions and requests.
• Update member profiles.
• Greet members and guests by their last name.
• Other Duties Assigned by Manager

Job description

In this role you will assist in the daily operations of Member Services to provide unparalleled experience and service to our members and guests.

The Madison Club is open during the winter & spring season, and this role will be for a full time, seasonal need from October 2026 - June 2027. Preferred candidates will have a flexible schedule, be able to work weekends & holidays, and understand that time off requests will not be honored during March or April (key event/ festival months).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in daily operation of Member Services.
• Assist with reservations, itineraries, travel, entertainment tickets, and general requests.
• Maintain game room, movie theater, and an organized workspace while assisting members and guests.
• Monitor Incoming Club Phone Calls
• Assist with promoting Club events.
• Create invitations or fliers to distribute to membership regarding Club events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of hospitality experience, customer service and telephone experience.
• Must have an outgoing & well-spoken personality and be able to clearly interact verbally with member and guests.
• Must be responsible, dependable, outgoing, and friendly, as well as patient and courteous with members/guests and other co-workers.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Must be able to take direction and complete tasks without the need for managerial follow-up.
• Applicant must be efficient, detail-oriented.
• Must have strong communications skills.
• Must be self-motivated with ability to think on their feet.
• Must learn member names and use them in greeting members.
• Must have professional appearance and grooming.
• Must follow dress code/uniform policies.
• Operate a computer, fax, copier, and other office equipment.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Email, and a willingness to learn new computer programs that the Club utilizes.
• May be required to lift objects weighing more than 25 pounds.
• Must be able to sit or be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be prepared to go above and beyond normal expectations daily as pertaining to the membership and their requests.
