Job summary

Webster First Federal Credit Union in Worcester, MA is seeking a Member Service Associate - Bank Teller to deliver exceptional member experience on the teller line and in branch. You will balance cash drawers, process transactions, and promote credit union products.

This full‑time, onsite role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and compliance with policies. A high school diploma is required and experience handling cash; bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role, including handling cash transactions.
• One to three years of bank/credit union experience is preferred but not required.
• Fluency in English is required; bilingual candidates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day branch operating policies, procedures, opening and closing, balancing drawers, and assisting members.
• Work as a teller on the frontline, handling account-related requests and services, such as openings, transfers, and deposits.
• Maintain cash drawer and provide accurate transaction processing and friendly member service; cross-sell credit union products.
• Research and resolve member issues and act as liaison between departments.
• Promote BSA/OFAC compliance and protect member and employee information.
