Job summary

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Associate to deliver outstanding service, handle cash accurately, and educate members on credit union products. The role focuses on meeting service expectations, referral selling, and maintaining trust in a high-security financial environment.

You'll work on the teller line, support branch operations, and contribute to branch sales and service goals while upholding the credit union's values and mission in every member interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months related experience or training.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word is expected.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and present information.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the teller line and balance cash drawer daily.
• Accept deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash checks and loan payments.
• Sell cashier’s checks, gift cards and other teller products.
• Assist in posting mail, ATM and night drop deposits.
• Handle member inquiries, educate on products and cross-sell services.
• Maintain branch security and audit preparation accuracy.
• Process debit card orders and related transactions.
• Support monthly branch audits and regulatory compliance tasks.
