Hello Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented teller to provide fast and friendly transactions in person, by phone and through the mail. The role includes answering members’ questions about Credit Union services and actively cross-sell other products and services.

You will work with a team that values empowerment of employees and members. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and prior cash handling and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Recording transactions, which involves logging checks and preparing transaction reports.
• Counting and packaging currency.
• Reconciling cash drawers.
• Opening new accounts and helping with loan applications.
• Exchanging foreign currency.
• Promoting the bank’s products and services.
• Keeping customers’ personal information confidential.
• Communicating with other bank team members.
