Job summary

First Commerce Credit Union is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our branch network. You will help members with everyday banking, solve problems, and guide their financial journey with care.

You’ll open accounts, perform teller duties, support online banking, and promote products with service excellence. A positive attitude, strong communication, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 18 months teller experience at a bank or credit union (or 12 months teller + 6 months customer service).
• A positive, "can-do" attitude and a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
• Comfort with office technology and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Open deposit accounts and recommend products that fit member needs.
• Perform teller duties including deposits, withdrawals, and balancing.
• Assist with account maintenance, debit card services, wire transfers, and more.
• Support members with online banking, safe deposit access, and financial tools.
• Notarizing documents, providing loan payoff quotes, and helping with direct deposits.
• Driving sales through service excellence and meeting referral goals.
