Role: A Member Service Representative's primary responsibility is to assist members in meeting routine financial goals while exceeding their expectations for service. Responsibilities include performing routine account transactions, cross-selling products and services, and resolving member account questions and concerns.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Receives and processes member's financial transactions.
2. Cross-sells deposit, loan, and convenience services appropriate to each member.
3. Uses problem-solving skills to research member account questions and concerns.
4. Performs routine daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

• Welcomes members and guests, provides information, and directs members to appropriate departments, ensuring friendly and professional service.
• Completes member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, check cashing, wire transfers, and more.
• Fulfills members' financial needs and uncovers unstated needs through directed conversations.
• Completes routine tasks including maintaining cash drawer limits, verifying and balancing cash, and servicing coin machines.
• Resolves questions and concerns, researches inquiries, and provides timely, accurate responses.
• Adheres to policies and guidelines set by the credit union.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks like typing, filing, and answering phones.
• Maintains dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Participates in training and professional development activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience: 1-3 years in customer service, cash handling, sales, banking, or financial services.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed communication skills for interacting with members.

Technical Skills: Ability to operate a computer and perform basic math.

- Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

- State of Pennsylvania residency required.
