Harborstone Credit Union Lakewood, WA is seeking a Member Service Representative (Float) to support multiple branches from Lakewood to Olympia. You will handle teller transactions, new accounts, and member education while delivering exceptional service to help members achieve their financial goals.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service or banking, strong communication, attention to detail, and comfort with digital banking tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service, retail, banking, or financial services experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Travel as needed to branch locations to support branch operations and contribute to overall branch success.
• Deliver exceptional service and create positive member experiences.
• Open new accounts and assist with account maintenance.
• Answer member questions in person, by phone, and through email.
• Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
• Educate members on products, services, digital banking tools, and self-service options.
• Identify opportunities to recommend solutions that fit members' financial needs.
• Resolve member concerns and problems quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance and confidentiality requirements.

The Member Service Representative- Float is a front-line banking professional who serves as a trusted resource for Harborstone members. This role will support multiple branches with member service, account management, teller transactions, financial education, and product referrals to help individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals.

This is a float Member Service Representative position that will service South District Branches from Lakewood to Olympia as needed.

Physical Considerations:

• Must be able to effectively read, write, and listen as well as communicate verbally, electronically and in written form with employees, members, board members, vendors, and the general public as required.
• May be asked to handle, move, and/or carry large boxes of supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
• May require stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching for limited periods of time.
• May require sitting and standing for long periods of time.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to branch locations as needed.
