Harborstone Credit Union is seeking a motivated Member Service Representative to join our Hawks Prairie branch in Lacey, WA. You will deliver outstanding member service, open and maintain accounts, and assist with various teller transactions and financial education.

Ideal candidates bring customer service or banking experience, strong communication, and accuracy in handling transactions. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within Harborstone.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service, retail, banking, or financial services experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling transactions.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and financial systems.
• Ability to adapt, collaborate, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service and create positive member experiences.
• Open new accounts and assist with account maintenance.
• Answer member questions in person, by phone, and through email.
• Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
• Educate members on products, services, digital banking tools, and self-service options.
• Identify opportunities to recommend solutions that fit members' financial needs.
• Resolve member concerns and problems quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance and confidentiality requirements.
• Support branch operations and contribute to overall branch success.
