Job summary

U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union in Farmington, NM is seeking a Part-time Member Service Representative to greet members, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist with account openings. The role is 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of similar or related experience.
• Customer service and/or considerable experience handling large amounts of cash required.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greet members entering the branch and thank them upon exit, addressing them by name.
• Post and process member financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments).
• Sell cashier checks and transfer funds as directed.
• Assist with member service requests (address changes, debit card issuance, account openings).
• Answer and resolve member inquiries; conduct account research as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks (typing, filing, title requests, phone handling).
• Encourage use of self-service options (Mobile Banking, ATMs, online banking).
• Identify and refer products/services to support members' financial goals.
• Aim to achieve team and individual sales/service targets.

Must ask members to remove hats and sunglasses as they enter the building.Post and process member financial transactions; including but limited to, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Sell cashier checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.Assist with member service requests which include but limited to address changes, debit card issuance and opening deposit accounts. Answer and resolve member inquiries. Conduct research on member accounts as required or requested.Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, completing title requests, computer input, answering phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate people.Encourage and educate members to use self-service conveniences including, but not limited to, Mobile Banking, Mobile Remote Capture, ATMs, and online banking to enhance their service experience.Identify and refer products and services that are appropriate in assisting the members financial success. Achieve all team and individual sale and service goals.Maintain in-depth knowledge of and comply with all department and security policies, procedures, and federal regulations, including BSA requirements.Other duties as assigned.Experience:Six months one year of similar or related experience.Customer service and/or considerable experience handling large amounts of cash required.Education: High School diploma or GED.Other skills: Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Windows environment and Microsoft productivity software.
