Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists is seeking a Member Service Representative for a well-established credit union in El Paso, TX. You will handle transactions, post to accounts, and help members with products and services.

Key duties include balancing cash drawer, processing checks, cash advances, and following OFAC/MI Log procedures. Strong customer service and basic computer skills are required; Monday–Saturday schedule with a 40-hour workweek at $15.25/hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with six months of related experience.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Post and debit/credit member accounts accurately.
• Provide information about products and services to members.
• Balance cash drawer at end of day.
• Understand and negotiate checks with placement of holds to mitigate fraud.
• Complete CTR/SAR when applicable.
• Coordinate with other departments to clear pending items before rendering services.

A well-established credit union is looking for Member Service Representatives.Responsible for proper transaction posting and account handling in addition to accurate receipt and disbursement of money to and from members. Responsible for furnishing information to the members about the credit union and its products and services.Typical duties:Ensures members’ accounts are credited and debited properly.Understands and negotiates checks, with a full understanding of placement of check holds in order to mitigate check fraud and losses.Completes cashier’s checks and cash advances following OFAC and MI Log procedures.Completes CTR/SAR when applicable and appropriate.Balances cash drawer at the end of the day.Reaches out to proper departments when dealing with ticklers, lockouts, and warnings on accounts in order to clear any pending items, prior to rendering services to members as applicable.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent with six (6) months of similar or related experience. Cash handling experience is a plus.Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.Basic Computer SkillsMember Service Representatives must be available for work Monday to Saturday each week.
